PAYMENTS

CHARGEBACKS

SUBSCRIPTIONS

REFUND POLICY

Terms of Purchase:

Members have the obligation to pay for their memberships (“Membership Subscriptions”) to the Site, because we do not offer free accounts to Members.

Our Company reserves the right to create and install additional services or features on the Site that require added or amended fees and charges in addition to your currently subscribed service. Our Company also reserves its right to remove services from the Site. The act of adding or removing services from the Site is at our Company’s sole discretion. You agree that our Company has the right to add or remove services at its own discretion, without providing notice to you.

By registering for a Membership Subscription, you agree that you irrevocably and expressly authorize our Company to transfer funds as applicable, via debit or credit card, based on your authorization via registration. It is your responsibility to make timely payments by keeping the information for a valid, non-expired credit or debit card on file in your account. Your failure to provide and maintain such accurate and up to date information may result in a billing failure, and puts your Membership Subscription at risk of suspension or permanent removal.

You agree that our Company may withhold any monies and/or debit any monies from any credit or debit card associated with your account to satisfy any fees, penalties, costs, adjustments, or any other financial action of the like, which our Company can apply at its own discretion without notice. Our Company reserves its rights to all causes of action against you for monies that our Company determines that you owe in association with your Member Account. You agree that you will indemnify, defend, and hold our Company harmless in its pursuit of any such action.

It is your sole responsibility to satisfy all applicable fees and payments in association with your Membership Subscription. All fees and charges are stated in U.S. Dollars and are non-refundable. You are required to make payments associated with your Membership Subscription through your account on the Site. If you experience problems while trying to make a payment, or while trying to update your payment information, please contact us using our contact form located at https://iapwo.org/contact/ .

You agree that you will indemnify our Company for the costs of pursuing you for outstanding payments and fees. You agree that our Company may share, at its own discretion, information related to your failure(s) to satisfy payments and fees, to applicable credit reporting agencies. Late fees will not be automatically charged to a credit card.

Our Company may, without notice and at its own discretion, correct any payment and/or processing errors that we discover. Said errors will be resolved by performing a direct debit or credit to the card associated with your account, pursuant to what is needed on a case-by-case basis, as determined by the sole discretion of our Company. Our Company is not liable for, and is not privy to, the terms related to failed transactions between Users. All failed payments for transactions occurring between Users are separate transactions that do not involve our Company as a party.

Financial transactions that occur through the site may be processed through third-party payment processors or other providers of such services. Some such transactions will provide you notice of separate terms and conditions when entering your payment information. The party that actually processes payments between you and the Site provides the terms and conditions that govern your transactions thereon.

As stated numerous times herein, our Company is not a party to any transaction that you attempt or complete with other Users. If you choose to transact with other Users, you acknowledge that you will be required to create your own separate and individual agreement with that User that does not involve our Company as a party. You alone are responsible for upholding your obligations and duties under the Terms of this Agreement.

You alone are responsible for charges made to your Membership Subscription, and you alone are responsible for satisfying all debts that result from failure to satisfy charges associated with your Membership Subscription, including interest and other associated penalties and/or fees. Those Membership Subscriptions with outstanding balances are subject to removal, no matter the dollar amount owed. You are also responsible for satisfying all taxes associated with your transactions through the Site. To the extent that our Company is obligated to collect such taxes from you, our Company will bill you for the same.

By creating a Membership Subscription, you expressly authorize our Company to apply or withdraw any monies from the payment methods for which you have provided. The only way to avoid this obligation is to modify your payment preferences in your account, or cancel your account. Our Company is not liable for monies taken in association with your Membership Subscription after you attempted to modify your payment information or cancel your account, but before our Company had a reasonable opportunity to act. You are responsible for all fees associated with financial transactions through the Site.

IAPWO memberships are paid memberships. Membership fees may be paid directly by yhe member or, in some cases, by an approved third party, such as an accredited education or training provider.

When an initial membership term is paid by an approved third party, the individual receiving the membership is still considered the IAPWO member and is subject to these Terms.

Unless otherwise stated, third-party payment applies only to the initial membership term. Any subsequent renewal is the responsibility of the member.

Membership fees are charged in U.S. Dollars at the rate displayed at the time of purchase or renewal.

By purchasing a membership, you authorize IAPWO and its third-party payment processor to charge the credit or debit card you provide for the applicable membership fee.

You are responsible for maintaining valid and current payment information associated with your membership. If a payment cannot be processed, your membership may be suspended or terminated until payment is successfully completed.

Payment transactions may be processed by third-party payment processors and may also be subject to the applicable processor’s terms and conditions.

IAPWO reserves the right to correct payment or processing errors, including issuing appropriate credits or charges when necessary.

Automatic Renewal

IAPWO memberships are billed annually and automatically renew every 365 days unless canceled prior to the renewal date.

By purchasing an IAPWO membership, you authorize IAPWO to automatically charge the payment method associated with your account for each annual renewal until you cancel your membership.

To prevent your membership from renewing and your payment method from being charged for another annual term, you must cancel your membership before your renewal date. You may cancel by logging into your account and using the “Cancel Membership” option or by contacting IAPWO at info@iapwo.org.

Membership rates may change from time to time. Any applicable renewal will be charged at the membership rate in effect at the time of renewal unless otherwise stated.

Membership Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time by logging into your account and using the using the “Cancel Membership” option.

Cancellation prevents your membership from automatically renewing for another annual term.

You may cancel your membership at any time. If you cancel solely to prevent a future renewal, your membership will remain active through the end of the current paid membership term.

If you wish to terminate your membership immediately and no longer be listed or recognized as an IAPWO member, you may request immediate cancellation by contacting IAPWO at info@iapwo.org. Immediate termination of membership does not entitle you to a full or prorated refund for any unused portion of the current membership term.

Except for qualifying renewal refunds requested under the limited Refund Policy below, all membership fees are non-refundable.

To avoid an upcoming annual renewal charge, you must cancel your membership before your renewal is processed.

Refund Policy

IAPWO membership fees are non-refundable and are not eligible for prorated refunds.

However, for a renewal term, if you wish to request a refund of a membership charge, we may extend a fourteen (14) calendar days of the date the charge was processed.

All refund requests must:

  • Be submitted in writing to info@iapwo.org; and
  • Be received by IAPWO within fourteen (14) calendar days of the applicable RENEWAL membership charge. This does not apply to first year membership.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method less any credit card, payment processing, or transaction fees incurred by IAPWO in connection with the original payment and/or refund.

After the fourteen-day refund request period has expired, the membership payment is final and non-refundable. No full or partial refund will be provided based upon cancellation, non-use of membership benefits, or the amount of time remaining in the membership term.

Submitting a cancellation request alone does not constitute a refund request. A member seeking a refund on a renewal term must separately submit the request in writing to info@iapwo.org within the fourteen-day period described above.

Discount Codes and Promotional Pricing

From time to time, IAPWO may offer promotional pricing, discounts, or discount codes. Unless expressly stated otherwise, discounts apply only as specified in the particular promotion and do not change the automatic renewal, cancellation, or refund provisions contained in these Terms.

Discounts and promotional offers have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash.

Credit Card Chargebacks

If you believe that a membership charge was made in error, please contact IAPWO at info@iapwo.org promptly so that we have an opportunity to review and resolve the issue.

By purchasing or renewing an IAPWO membership, you acknowledge that the applicable membership charge is authorized pursuant to these Terms.

IAPWO reserves the right to dispute any chargeback that it believes is inconsistent with these Terms or relates to a properly authorized membership charge. IAPWO may provide the applicable payment processor or financial institution with records relating to the membership purchase, renewal, cancellation, refund policy, and member account.

A chargeback or payment reversal may result in suspension or termination of the associated IAPWO membership. IAPWO also reserves any rights and remedies available to it with respect to unpaid membership fees or other amounts legitimately owed. We reserve the right to challenge any chargeback on the basis of the Terms of this Agreement and, if the requested chargeback is ultimately successful, we reserve the right to re-charge your credit card for the past due amount and any fees issued by our processor, or to pursue you in court for lost revenue, damages, and attorney’s fees associated with our collection efforts.

Changes to Membership Services

IAPWO may add, modify, or discontinue membership benefits, services, features, or offerings from time to time.

Changes to particular benefits or services do not create a right to a prorated or partial refund.
