About Mark Honeyman
I was an English teacher for 35 years, and ironically enough, I officiated my first wedding for a former student of mine. It was a transcendent experience that inspired me to become a professional officiant. My certification is for secular ceremonies only. I serve primarily Southeast Michigan, but I am available to conduct ceremonies in other parts of Michigan and even in other states. I provide fully-customized wedding ceremonies, vow renewals, elopements, and simple license signings for couples regardless of race, color, nationality, ethnicity, age, disability, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation. My ultimate goal - aided by 50 years of writing, performing, and public speaking experience - is to create poignant and personal ceremonies centered around the unique values, perspectives, and experiences of each couple.Photos
