I became an officiant because I am deeply touched when partners, their families, and their friends celebrate the betrothed exactly as they are and how they want to be. In researching the wedding industry, I found that, sadly, many have experienced prejudice against so-called "non-traditional weddings." As a proud Black, pansexual, polyamorous woman, with over 20 years of experience as a BDSM educator and practitioner, I wanted to provide you, my beautiful communities, a safe, understanding, respectful, and as-excited-as-you-are experience. My own wedding was an elopement, and while I have no regrets, it would have been wonderful if our union was wholeheartedly supported by our loved ones.
