About Dr. Jennifer Blackburn Miller

Love is love. Whoever you are, whatever you believe, wherever you’re from, and whomever you love… You have the right to get married. I support interfaith marriages and LGBTQ+ marriages. I specialize in smaller, intimate weddings, but I’m open to any size ceremony. I offer a variety of different kinds of ceremonies and you are also welcome to create your own. I will assist you as much, or as little, as you wish. I can do a Celtic handfasting unity ritual as part of your marriage ceremony, if desired. I am half Irish and I have been to Ireland and Northern Ireland five times. I am also open to doing other unity rituals. I’m available for a variety of types of ceremonies and special events. I can also take candid photos pre-and post ceremony as an add on option. Many people have said I capture the essence/mood of events and they feel like they were there. My education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies, a Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language, and a Doctorate in Lifelong Learning and Adult Education, as well as Comparative and International Education. Regarding my personal beliefs, I am an active member of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Centre County, Pennsylvania (UUFCC). Unitarian Universalists hold love at the center of our faith, while bridging spirituality and social justice to create a better world for all. I am legally ordained to officiate weddings anywhere in the United States. I am open to international destination celebration ceremonies after a legal ceremony has been conducted in the U.S. I look forward to hearing from you and setting up a free consultation! :)
