From barefoot on the beach, to tuxedos in the opera house, we can create the perfect wedding for you. Officiating over 40 weddings in Vietnam & Southeast Asia, I have the experience and insight to tailor vows and the entire ceremony to your personal philosophies and preferences, in order to create a unique, elegant, fun and warm ambience for your special day. I have worked with couples from a wide range of belief sets – from those who are non-religious through to Catholics, Buddhists, Muslims and Lutherans. My services cover all preparatory work and leading the ceremony on the day. In more detail, services include: Writing a ceremony that takes into account your cultural, personal, spiritual and/or religious needs and preferences Sending you options for the content and flow of the ceremony Sending you suggested readings, suggested vows and more Sending you a questionnaire to gain a better understanding of both the bride & the groom, in order to better personalise your ceremony Helping you to write your own vows Preparation of all documents A rehearsal, normally the day before or on the morning of the wedding, at the option of the couple, but strongly recommended A symbolic Wedding Certificate Preparation of a printed memento version of the ceremony for you to keep Ensuring your ceremony runs smoothly, is fun, romantic and overall a wonderful experience! OTHER PLANNER SERVICES - because most weddings I support are destination weddings, I can also help to put you in contact with a range of other services – from venues, menus and musicians, to photographers and florists, cake bakers and gown makers. Background An experienced celebrant / officiant with a passion for theatre and acting, my brides & grooms have said that I “inject feeling and humour through my personable and mature style, always remaining the consummate professional.” They also generally say that I am “great fun, that they can’t thank me enough for all the help and support I gave them, and for making their big day so special and memorable.” I worked in foreign aid with the Australian Government for ten years, then while working at the Australian Embassy in Hanoi my family fell in love with the country and the people… I quit, became a consultant and now reside in beautiful Hoi An, central Vietnam with my wife and kids. I have supported many beautiful weddings in Cambodia, China, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.
